Rain, Rain.....

.....go away, Science Place here we come today!! We had a good time inside today as we thought rain was going to ruin the day. It turned out to be a great day outside but we enjoyed it indoors all the same. The kids love to push all the buttons and have the freedom to manipulate things in a way they normally are not allowed to do!!! The firetruck is always a hit as well as the farm. Discovery added with the right company is a combination for fun!!! We did decide to eat outdoors in the nice weather. They day ended with nothing less than a bang! I fell into the lake next to the red climbing exhibits outside. It was a very embarrassing event and I am sure this memory will find its way back to me for a long time!!!!!

Apple "flitters" and friends

We went to the arboretum with some friends last Saturday. We really enjoyed spending time with them! The weather was unusually cool for late July in Texas. It was so cold that the kids did not want to stay in the water long!!! This was Jamie's first date to the arboretum. I know he acted as if he liked it and all but I am sure it is not some place he will frequent with me! I think he wishes he could be catching the fish and not feeding them!!

Rocket Launch

Aunt Debbie told Jamyson that there was a space shuttle launch on the evening after we left her house. Jamyson woke up from his nap and could not quit talking about it. We went to the store and found two toy rockets for him and his dad. Well, of course he could not wait for dad so he shot the rocket all evening until he came home. We watched the rocket launch on the internet and watched the NASA channel all night!! I made the guys go outside with the rockets because for some reason I was the target at my every turn of the house. Jamyson had a new love in space ships and rockets. It is so fun to watch as he is introduced to new things and fall in love with each of them. When his eyes light up in excitement it lights up my heart as well!!!

Not one smile on the outside but on the inside they are very happy with the popsicles!!!

We had a great day at Aunt Debbie's house. Jumping in the pool, playing on the porch, shooting rockets and waiting to see the new truck. It is so fun to see the world through little eyes. What we can sometimes as sweaty hot day they see as an adventure!!! Thank you Aunt Debbie for a gerat day!!!
